


Legacy product support
Some customers to come to us with just one or two current products they want to outsource. However many companies have a product history resulting in a number of legacy products that need supporting. They may be no longer in production, or only required very occasionally, but they still need to be supported.
If you cannot outsource these legacy products then you have to retain some in-house manufacturing expertise and facility to support them. This will inevitably negate a lot of the cost benefits that can be obtained from outsourcing.
At Rustons, we are unusual amongst electronic manufacturers in that we will take on legacy product support and repair. This enables you to reap the maximum befits of outsourcing, not just a reduced part.
