21st Century supply chains

The 21st century supply chains programme (SC21) aims to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace and defence industry. With international competition increasing, the participation of companies of all sizes throughout the UK supply chain is crucial to delivering real results from this modernisation programme. This is being done by working together to harmonise how suppliers and customers can improve overall.

We are an active task force member of this programme, helping the whole industry to work towards enhanced methods of supply chain management. We are involved in setting the standards that will impact quality, delivery and reaction to problems.

We have seen significant changes through the use of Kaizen events to improve process flows. This involve helps a focus on lean manufacturing to:
